Audit Manager

Our public accounting client in the Springfield area is seeking an Audit Manager to lead client engagements, oversee audit teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

This position will pay between $100-120K on a base salary

Responsibilities

• Manage audit engagements from planning through completion
• Oversee fieldwork, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
• Review audit workpapers prior to Partner review
• Serve as a primary client contact and build strong relationships
• Identify client needs and opportunities for additional services
• Mentor, train, and develop Associates and Senior Associates
• Support business development and practice growth initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• CPA or CPA-track
• 5+ years of public accounting/audit experience
• Strong client management and leadership skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and technology proficiency
