Job Position: Audit Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Role Description

• The Audit Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for overseeing internal audit activities across the station’s financial and operational processes.
• This role includes planning and executing financial and compliance audits, reviewing internal controls, and assessing the accuracy of financial records and reports.
• The Audit Manager will analyze financial statements, identify risk areas, recommend improvements, and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
• Daily tasks involve coordinating audit schedules, preparing audit documentation and reports, working closely with finance and accounting teams, and presenting findings to senior management.
• The role also supports regulatory compliance, contributes to policy development, and helps strengthen governance and accountability within the organization.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA) and a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are highly beneficial.
• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills, with a solid understanding of budgeting, reporting, and internal controls.
• Candidates should possess experience with Financial Audits and Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and reconciliation.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and evaluate risk.
• Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Experience in media, broadcasting, or a similarly dynamic industry, and familiarity with Nigerian financial regulations, are an advantage.
