Audit Manager, Construction

For our client, we are seeking a Audit Manager, Construction to join the team of a leader in the Legal & Accounting space.

This role will oversee audit, review, and compilation engagements for construction clients, ensuring work is delivered with strong technical quality and efficient execution. The position partners closely with senior leadership on risk assessment, audit planning, staffing, budgeting, and client service. In addition, the manager will provide guidance on complex accounting issues, support GAAP compliance, and contribute to team development and business growth.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $144,000 – $216,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage audit, review, and compilation engagements with multiple teams
• Collaborate with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners in risk assessment and audit procedures
• Oversee all aspects of the audit engagement including staffing and budgeting
• Research and provide guidance on complex accounting matters
• Assist clients with GAAP compliance and FASB Accounting Standard Updates
• Serve as an instructor in training programs and departmental meetings
• Engage in community and business development activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• CPA certification required
• CCIFP certification preferred
• Experience in the construction industry, private and/or public, required
• Minimum five years of relevant public accounting experience required
• Prior supervisory experience required
