Audit Manager (PSU)

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with strong experience in auditing, accounting, compliance, and internal controls. The candidate should have exposure to PSU/Bank audits and be capable of independently handling audit assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct statutory, internal, and compliance audits of PSUs and Government entities.
• Review books of accounts, financial statements, transactions, and supporting documents.
• Assess internal controls and identify financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, Ind AS/Accounting Standards, GST, Income Tax, and Companies Act.
• Analyze financial statements, budgets, expenditure, revenue, and cash flows.
• Prepare audit reports, observations, and management reports.
• Identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
• Coordinate with client finance teams and stakeholders for audit requirements and resolution of observations.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of auditing, accounting, and financial reporting.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Experience in PSU/Government or large corporate audits preferred.
• Good understanding of statutory compliance and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
