Audit Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Audit Execution

·       Conduct regular audits of outlets, commissaries, and warehouses.

·       Verify cost controls, inventory accuracy, and waste tracking.

·       Assess compliance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations.

Financial & Operational Analysis

·       Review daily sales reports, cash handling, petty cash, and void transactions.

·       Monitor stock variances, overages/shortages, and inter-branch transfers.

·       Analyze cost efficiency and identify areas for operational improvement.

Compliance & Risk Management

·       Ensure adherence to sanitation laws, health codes, and internal control policies.

·       Identify operational risks and report findings to the Audit Manager.

·       Support implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.

Investigation & Reporting

·       Investigate irregularities, customer complaints, and non-compliance incidents.

·       Document audit findings with supporting evidence.

·       Prepare audit reports with clear observations and recommendations.

Coordination & Support

·       Collaborate with branch managers, staff, and finance teams during audits.

·       Assist in developing audit checklists and work programs.

·       Participate in training sessions to promote audit awareness and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any course.

·       4 years of experience in internal audit

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Familiarity with costing, inventory systems, and POS reports.

·       Proficiency in MS Excel and audit tools.

·       High attention to detail and integrity.

·       Good communication and report-writing skills.

·       Willingness to travel to multiple locations.
