About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Partner to join AG ASSURANCE PAC on a part-time basis, based in our City Hall Central Region office. The part-time arrangement offers flexibility whilst allowing you to maintain a significant presence within the firm and contribute to its continued success.

Key responsibilities

• Leading and directing external audit engagements for major clients, ensuring compliance with relevant auditing standards and regulatory requirements

• Assuming overall responsibility for audit quality, methodology and the delivery of timely, insightful audit reports

• Reviewing and approving audit documentation, ensuring comprehensive and rigorous audit procedures are conducted throughout all engagements

• Supporting the firm's quality assurance and compliance frameworks, including participation in audit quality reviews and risk management initiatives

• Keeping abreast of developments in auditing standards, regulatory changes and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• A professional qualification in accounting (such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with proven experience as an audit partner or senior audit manager within an external audit environment

• Extensive experience conducting external audits across diverse industries and client types, demonstrating deep knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex audit matters clearly to diverse audiences

• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and corporate governance frameworks

• Preferred: Experience with audit quality reviews, compliance frameworks and continuous professional development .
