Audit Semi Senior

We are seeking an experienced Audit Semi Senior to join our external audit team at SIM & ASSOCIATES, based in KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur (next to Abdullah Hukum LRT station). Key responsibilities:

• Plan and perform audit assignments for a portfolio of clients.
• Assist in preparation of tax computation and gain exposure to taxation matters.
• Maintain compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements and firm policies throughout all engagements.
• Communicate with clients on audit matters and resolve audit issues.
• Guide and supervise junior audit team members.

What we're looking for

• Professional qualification: Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance. ACCA, MICPA or equivalent recognised accounting qualification is an added advantage BUT not compulsory.
• Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in external audit or a similar audit environment. Remuneration package will depends on years of experience.
• Strong team spirit and willingness to support fellow team members. We value teamwork, collaboration and quality of work over individual time-cost performance.
• Responsible, positive and willing to learn. Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and managers.
• We are using audit software (ABOT) and tax software (iBizztax), accounting software (UBS, Auto count). Training are provided.
