Audit Senior Associate (External)

Job Overview

We are looking for a GDS Assurance Senior to lead and manage assurance engagements, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality audit work in accordance with global standards and client expectations. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for global assurance teams, oversee engagement deliverables, review audit procedures, and provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assurance engagements and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables in accordance with EY Global Audit Methodology (GAM) and global team expectations.
• Review audit procedures and documentation performed by junior team members to ensure compliance with applicable auditing standards and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with global assurance teams regarding engagement requirements, workflow, resource allocation, and project timelines.
• Monitor engagement progress, team utilization, budgets, and deliverable quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit processes, standardize review procedures, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor junior team members, providing feedback and supporting their professional development.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with global teams and internal stakeholders.
• Apply appropriate risk management practices and ensure compliance with quality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting and auditing, with external audit experience required.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting frameworks.
• Knowledge of PFRS/IFRS, Philippine Standards on Auditing (PSA), and taxation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, review audit work, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, or international review standards.
• Experience handling international clients or working with global engagement teams.
• Strong coaching, leadership, stakeholder management, and process improvement skills.

Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php65,000.00 per month
