Audit Senior

About the role
 
You'll lead the day-to-day delivery of audit assignments, support junior colleagues and build strong client relationships. Your work will cover planning, fieldwork and reporting, ensuring engagements meet quality standards, deadlines and budgets.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning audit engagements, identifying key risks and developing appropriate audit procedures.
• Reviewing financial statements, supporting records and internal controls.
• Preparing clear audit documentation and resolving technical queries.
• Monitoring engagement progress against deadlines and budgets.
• Coaching junior team members and reviewing their work.
• Preparing audit reports, management letters and recommendations for clients.
• Maintaining clear communication with clients, Managers and Partners.

About you
 
You bring sound technical knowledge, professional judgement and a practical approach. You enjoy working with clients, taking responsibility and helping others develop.
You'll ideally have:

• You will have external audit experience within an accounting practice and wanting a wider client base.
• A relevant accounting degree and a CA, CPA or ACCA qualification, or be nearing completion.
• A strong understanding of financial reporting and auditing standards.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience using Excel and audit software.
