As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for leading audit assignments and ensuring high-quality delivery of audit engagements.

Your responsibilities include:

·         As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in managing audit engagements and working closely with clients to deliver high-quality financial assurance services.

·         Plan, lead, and complete statutory audit engagements

·         Perform audit fieldwork and review financial statements

·         Prepare audit working papers and audit reports

·         Liaise professionally with clients to obtain information and resolve audit matters

·         Review internal controls and recommend process improvements

·         Supervise, coach, and mentor audit assistants and junior staff

·         Ensure audit assignments comply with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and regulatory requirements

·         Update Managers and Partners on audit progress, findings, and potential issues

·         Meet engagement deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements:

We're looking for someone who has:

·         Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

·         Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA or MICPA), or currently pursuing one

·         Minimum 3 years of external audit experience

·         Experience leading audit engagements from planning through completion

·         Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

·         Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments

·         Positive attitude with strong leadership and interpersonal skills

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/audit software is an advantage

·         Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and audit compliance standards

·         Hands-on experience across the full audit cycle, with the ability to deliver quality work independently
