Audit Specialist

About the role

This role involves conducting internal audits across key business areas including credit operations, risk control processes, finance, compliance, and post-loan management. You will perform both on-site and remote audits to verify adherence to business procedures, identify process gaps, and detect potential risks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting internal audits across credit operations, risk control processes, finance, compliance, and post-loan management
• Perform on-site and remote audits to verify adherence to business procedures, identify process gaps, and detect potential risks
• Collect and verify audit documentation, organize business data, and prepare audit working papers
• Objectively document audit findings, compile supporting evidence, and draft preliminary audit reports
• Propose actionable and implementable improvement recommendations
• Track audit issue resolution to closure by liaising with relevant business departments and monitoring progress
• Verify completion and recheck remediation results, providing regular updates on corrective action status
• Review business operations against Indonesian financial regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal procedures
• Identify deviations in policy implementation and assist in strengthening internal control processes
• Archive audit records, maintain audit ledgers, and ensure proper classification and retention of documents

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in internal audit within Indonesian companies, external audit at accounting firms, or financial risk & compliance investigations
• Proficient in spoken and written Indonesian, capable of independently preparing audit working papers, audit reports, and corrective action notices
• Familiarity with Indonesian PSAK accounting standards, fundamental tax regulations, OJK financial compliance rules
• Strong skills in document sampling, data comparison, Excel-based data analysis and reconciliation
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent on-site audits, logical evidence gathering, and effective cross-departmental communication
• Must maintain objectivity and impartiality, without favoring business units
• Willing and able to travel regionally for on-site audit assignments
• Exceptional commitment to confidentiality, resistant to interpersonal pressure or bias that could conceal risks
• No history of fraud or professional misconduct
