Audit Specialist

A Field Audit Associate conducts on-site examinations of company locations, assessing financial records, operations, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations, identifying risks, inefficiencies, and fraud, then preparing detailed reports with recommendations for management to improve controls and processes, requiring strong analytical skills and often travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Field Audits: Travel to various company sites to perform physical checks and audits.

• Compliance & Control Evaluation: Verify adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Financial & Operational Analysis: Examine financial statements, transactions, and operational data for accuracy and discrepancies.

• Risk & Fraud Identification: Identify potential risks, inefficiencies, weaknesses, and instances of fraud or mismanagement.

• Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and actionable recommendations for improvement.

• Collaboration: Work with audit teams, management, and other stakeholders to gather data and implement corrective actions.

• Follow-Up: Monitor and ensure that previous audit findings are addressed
