AUDITOR

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical Auditor to conduct audits and field inspections across the company’s offices, stores, branches, warehouses, and other locations nationwide. The ideal candidate is willing to travel extensively, work on-site, and stay away from home for extended periods when required. The role requires strong attention to detail, integrity, discipline, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct regular financial, operational, inventory, compliance, and process audits across company locations.
• Perform physical inventory counts, asset verification, cash and document checking, and other audit procedures.
• Review transactions, records, reports, and supporting documents to identify discrepancies, irregularities, and control weaknesses.
• Conduct surprise audits and spot checks as assigned.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of inventory, assets, documents, and operational records.
• Investigate discrepancies and determine possible root causes.
• Prepare detailed audit findings, reports, and recommendations for corrective action.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and internal controls are properly followed.
• Coordinate with different departments and branch personnel during audit activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information and audit findings.
• Escalate significant findings, irregularities, and potential control issues to management.
• Conduct follow-up audits to determine whether previous findings have been properly addressed.
• Assist in improving internal controls, audit procedures, and operational processes.
• Maintain complete and organized audit documentation and working papers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Accountancy, Accounting, Internal Auditing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Highly trustworthy, responsible, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.

• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Physically and mentally prepared for frequent fieldwork and travel.

• Willing to travel nationwide and be assigned to different branches, stores, warehouses, and company locations.

• Willing to stay out of town / away from home for extended periods depending on audit schedules and business requirements.

• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when necessary, especially during urgent or scheduled audit activities.

• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and assignments.

• Able to work under pressure and meet strict audit deadlines.

• Willing to work fully onsite and report to the company’s Head Office in South Caloocan when not assigned to field locations.

IMPORTANT ROLE REQUIREMENT

This is a field-based and travel-intensive position. Applicants must be comfortable with frequent nationwide travel, extended out-of-town assignments, and staying away from home when required. Flexibility with working hours and schedules is also expected, especially during audit periods.
