Auditor

Job Summary

The Auditor is responsible for examining and evaluating the company’s financial records, internal controls, policies, and operational processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness. The role involves identifying risks, detecting discrepancies, recommending improvements, and preparing audit reports for management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and/or external audits in accordance with company policies and applicable standards.
• Review financial records, transactions, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify weaknesses, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
• Perform audit testing and document audit findings and working papers.
• Identify irregularities, errors, or potential fraud and escalate significant findings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
• Prepare clear and accurate audit reports and communicate findings to management.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure audit recommendations are implemented.
• Assist in preparing audit plans, risk assessments, and audit schedules.
• Maintain proper and confidential audit documentation and records.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments during audit activities.
• Perform any other audit-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA is an advantage.
• years of relevant auditing experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems is preferred.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
