About the role

We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join our dynamic team in Penang. As an Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our clients' financial statements and records. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of businesses, providing you with diverse and valuable experience.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements and records to identify any discrepancies or irregularities
• Analysing financial data and preparing detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations
• Collaborating with clients to understand their operations and address any concerns or issues
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance
• Providing guidance and support to clients on best practices for financial management and reporting
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and other reporting documents
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our audit procedures and processes

What we're looking for

• Qualified accountant with a recognised professional designation (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in external auditing, preferably within a reputable accounting firm
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Proficiency in using audit software and data analysis tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity
