Auditor

Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auditor to support the organization's internal audit and financial control functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing financial records, assessing internal controls, identifying financial risks, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and established procedures.

Salary: ₦250,000 – ₦350,000 Gross Monthly

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of financial records, transactions, and operational processes.
• Review accounting records and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assess internal controls and identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Verify compliance with financial policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Reconcile financial records and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions.
• Prepare audit working papers, findings, and reports for management review.
• Follow up on audit findings and monitor implementation of recommended corrective actions.
• Support financial reviews, investigations, and special audit assignments as required.
• Maintain proper documentation of audit activities and findings.
• Provide support to the Group Financial Controller on audit and financial control matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant auditing or accounting experience.
• Must have completed ICAN Skills Level.
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
