Authorization Specialist

• Check patient eligibility and completes patient insurance benefit verification.
• Able to understand the cost estimators and patient responsibilities.
• Obtain and verify insurance authorizations for procedures.
• Able to get the PCP office's aaprovals.
• Review patient medical records and documentation to ennsure accuracy of the authorizations.
• Track and document authorization statuses, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of any issues or denials.
• Keep comprehensive tract of the patients on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Stay updated on insurance regulations and guidelines.
• Maintaining detailed records of preauthorization request, approvals, denials and appeals.
• Able to communicate with front office related to queries, pending cases and rescheduling.

Required Competencies:

• Authorization experienced minimum 1 year
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional Attitude and appearance.
• Excellent Organization skills.
