Auto Body and Collision Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Auto Body and Collision Technician to join our team. You must have a red seal certification or are close to recieving. You will be responsible for completing Salvage vehicle inspections. This is a full-time position at our shop. The main responsibilities for this position are to complete The Body Integrity Inspection Report (CVSE0031) and Structural Integrity Declaration Report (CVSE0032) on vehicles that are up to standard and file the paperwork accordingly. This position does not require to perform any real autobody repair.

Responsibilities:

• Examine the safety of salvage vehicles
• Repair vehicle issues using the appropriate tools and equipment if needed
• Complete inspections and reports efficiently and accurately
• Communicate with team members and occasional customers
• Keep accurate records of all inspections
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop

Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge and skills - Ability to use power tools and other automotive equipment effectively - Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks - Experience working in a dealership/mechanic shop setting is preferred but not required. Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
