Wayne’s Auto Body is looking for an experienced Auto Body Estimator to join our team.

We are seeking someone who is professional, organized, knowledgeable in collision repair, and comfortable working with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process.

Responsibilities include:

• Write accurate collision repair estimates
• Inspect vehicles and document visible damage
• Communicate with customers regarding the repair process
• Work directly with insurance companies and adjusters
• Prepare and submit supplements when additional damage is found
• Review insurance estimates for accuracy
• Order and verify necessary parts
• Work closely with technicians and office staff throughout repairs
• Maintain organized claim and repair documentation
• Keep customers updated on the status of their vehicles
• Help ensure repairs move through the shop efficiently

Qualifications:

• Previous auto body estimating or collision repair experience preferred
• Knowledge of collision repair procedures and vehicle construction
• Experience working with insurance claims
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a busy body shop environment
• Experience with estimating software is a plus
