Join our dynamic automotive team as an Auto Body Estimator, where your expertise will drive customer satisfaction and streamline collision repair processes. In this vital role, you will assess vehicle damage accurately, prepare detailed repair estimates, and communicate effectively with clients and technicians. Your mechanical knowledge and estimating skills will ensure efficient workflows, helping customers get back on the road quickly and confidently. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the scope of repairs needed
• Use advanced estimating software to prepare detailed repair estimates that include parts, labor, and materials
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair processes, costs, and timelines to enhance customer experience
• Collaborate with service technicians and mechanics to ensure accurate assessments and efficient repairs
• Identify opportunities for upselling additional services such as oil changes, tire services, suspension work, or brake repairs
• Maintain accurate documentation of estimates, repair orders, and client communications in company systems
• Assist in managing workflow by coordinating with collision repair teams and ensuring timely completion of repairs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auto estimating, collision repair, or automotive service management within a dealership or independent shop setting
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a mechanic or service technician preferred
• Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, transmissions, suspension systems, shocks & struts, brake systems, and oil changes
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Ability to identify upselling opportunities to increase shop revenue while maintaining integrity
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driving experience is essential
• Knowledge of automotive repair processes including tire service and auto service management

Pay: $62,300.00 - $75,200.00 per year
