We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auto Body Estimator to join our fast-paced collision repair team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers and insurance adjusters, accurately assessing vehicle damage and preparing comprehensive repair estimates. Your expertise will help ensure efficient workflow, exceptional customer service, and profitable shop operations. Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to identify all repair needs, including collision damage, mechanical issues, and component wear.
• Utilize advanced estimating software to prepare detailed repair estimates that include parts, labor, and additional services such as oil changes or tire replacements.
• Communicate clearly with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians to explain repair processes and estimate details.
• Collaborate with service technicians and mechanics to understand repair scopes and ensure estimates align with actual work performed.
• Manage client communication throughout the repair process, providing updates and answering questions promptly.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in auto estimating, collision repair, or automotive service management within a dealership or independent shop environment.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as CCC ONE, Mitchell, or similar computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools.
• Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to upsell additional services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed.
• Cash handling experience is a plus; familiarity with auto service sales techniques is highly desirable.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
