Auto Body Technician, Auto Body Painter

Redwood Collision Co. is a locally owned and operated Auto Body Repair Shop opening this Fall. We are currently looking to fill the positions of: Auto Body Technician and Painter. Duties

• Repair automotive structural damage using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle integrity.
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair methods to ensure flawless paint application.
• Apply auto paint using airless paint spraying techniques, ensuring an even finish that matches factory standards.
• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, auto restoration, and automotive parts installation with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct auto glass replacement and automotive parts installation to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; assist with vehicle detailing and auto maintenance as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience working as an automotive body technician.
• Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques.
• Skilled in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, fabrication, and fabrication repair techniques.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including auto restoration, auto painting, auto glass installation, and automotive parts installation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during auto refinishing and assembly processes.
