Duties

• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural realignment using advanced welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to shape, repair, and restore vehicle bodies with precision.
• Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs, auto painting, auto restoration, and automotive body refinishing to achieve a flawless finish.
• Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards.
• Apply fabrication repair techniques using sheet metal and fabrication skills to create custom parts or modify existing panels for optimal fit and finish.
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to collision repair, including alignment checks and mechanical repairs when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of power tools.
• Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, customer service interactions, and vehicle inspection reports to ensure transparency and satisfaction.

Experience

• Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar collision repair environment.
• Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and automotive welding equipment operation.
• Knowledge of auto body structural repair methods including sheet metal work and fabrication repair techniques.
• Familiarity with auto parts installation processes such as auto glass replacement and bumper repairs.
• Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and detailing tools efficiently.

Pay: From $33.00 per hour
