Position Overview

Terre Haute Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Body Shop is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team.

We are looking for a skilled, dependable professional who takes pride in their workmanship and is committed to performing safe, high-quality collision repairs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician looking to join a professional dealership body shop with opportunities for continued training and growth.

I-CAR certification is preferred. Experienced technicians who are not currently I-CAR certified are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

$20–$30 per hour, based on experience, skill level, certifications, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform collision repairs from start to finish
• Inspect and assess vehicle damage accurately
• Perform structural and non-structural repairs
• Repair and replace damaged body panels and components
• Perform welding and metal repair
• Complete body filler, sanding, and preparation work
• Properly disassemble and reassemble vehicles
• Follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Work closely with estimators, management, and other technicians
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Previous professional collision repair experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of modern collision repair procedures
• Experience with structural and non-structural repairs
• Welding and metal repair experience
• Ability to read and follow OEM repair procedures
• I-CAR certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to quality workmanship and safe repair practices
• Dependable work ethic and professional attitude
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
