Auto Body Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced auto body repair techniques. Duties

• Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work, utilizing welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering.
• Conduct auto body repairs, including dent removal, sanding
• Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to execute precise repairs and fabrication tasks.
• Install automotive parts such as , bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with attention to detail and safety standards.
• Apply fabrication repair techniques involving sheet metal work and custom fabrication to restore damaged vehicle sections.
• Conduct auto restoration projects by utilizing automotive welding equipment and fabrication skills to bring classic or damaged vehicles back to life.
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to auto body repairs and ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience working as an automotive body technician in a dealership or similar setting with a strong understanding of auto body repair processes.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication repair techniques essential for structural fixes.
• Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, parts installation, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools,and other automotive repair tools.
• Ability to perform automotive cosmetic repairs including, detailing
• Experience with auto estimating software and auto glass installation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of automotive parts installation procedures and working knowledge of heavy lifting techniques for vehicle components.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
