Responsibilities

• Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work, using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering.
• Conduct auto body repairs involving dent removal, panel replacement, and cosmetic refinishing to restore vehicles to factory standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to execute precise repairs and fabrication tasks.
• Apply auto painting techniques, including auto body refinishing and airless paint spraying, ensuring smooth finishes and high-quality results.
• Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with attention to detail and safety standards.
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to auto restoration, including sanding, detailing, and assembly of repaired parts.
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring fabrication repair techniques and automotive parts installation while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role; dealership experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, sheet metal work, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing processes.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair techniques, and the use of automotive welding equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive repair equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts installation.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software and basic mechanic experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in all aspects of auto restoration and cosmetic repair.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 120.0 per week
