Auto Body Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural realignment using hand tools and power tools.
• Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to repair or fabricate vehicle parts and structures.
• Conduct auto painting, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs to restore vehicles to pristine condition.
• Install automotive parts such as glass, trim, and mechanical components with precision.
• Apply fabrication repair techniques for sheet metal and structural components using specialized fabrication tools.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations through thorough inspections and testing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or similar role within a dealership or repair shop environment.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and the use of automotive welding equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, parts installation, and auto restoration processes.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment.
• Knowledge of automotive structural repair, sheet metal work, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during vehicle repairs.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
