Auto Body Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform auto body repairs on vehicles
• Repair and replace damaged body parts, including panels, fenders, doors, and bumpers
• Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
• Use power tools and hand tools to complete repairs
• Prep surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
• Apply paint using airless paint spraying equipment
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Auto Body Technician
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes
• Proficiency with power tools and hand tools used in auto body repair
• Experience with airless paint spraying equipment for painting vehicles
• Knowledge of auto estimating software for accurate repair cost estimation
• Familiarity with auto restoration techniques is a plus

Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship in completing repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and find effective solutions
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and provide updates on repairs
