Auto Body Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Worker/ Prep Gloss to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve smooth, flawless finishes
• Use MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair sheet metal and fabricate custom parts as needed
• Remove and replace auto glass with precision to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Prepare vehicles for detailing and final inspection by performing sanding, polishing, and surface preparation
• Assist with auto restoration projects by fabricating parts, performing mechanical repairs, and assembling components
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience preferred
• Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and sheet metal work
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and auto body repair techniques
• Experience with auto painting, auto restoration, auto glass installation, and auto body assembly
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and estimates
• Knowledge of automotive repair standards including auto estimating processes is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
