Duties

• Perform automotive structural repairs, auto body repairs, and cosmetic refinishing using advanced techniques and tools
• Conduct welding repairs, including MIG welding, automotive welding equipment operation, and soldering to restore vehicle frames and panels
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for preparation and finishing work
• Fabricate sheet metal parts and perform fabrication repair techniques to match original specifications
• Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision
• Execute auto painting and automotive body refinishing tasks to achieve high-quality finishes
• Assist in auto restoration projects by applying detailed repair techniques and automotive cosmetic repair skills
• Use automotive parts installation knowledge for efficient vehicle repairs while adhering to safety standards
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks as needed to ensure optimal performance during the repair process
• Maintain detailed documentation of repair procedures and communicate effectively with team members and customers

Skills

• Proven dealership experience or extensive background working as an automotive body technician
• Proficiency in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive structural components and vehicle systems
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment
• Experience with auto restoration, auto body refinishing, auto painting, and detailing processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs
• Knowledge of automotive parts installation procedures including auto glass replacement
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly and professionally
• Familiarity with auto estimating software and procedures for accurate job costing
• Working knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety protocols

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
