Fix Auto St. Catharines/Welland/Niagara-on-the lake is looking for an Auto Body Prepper and disassembly/assembly Technician

If you are a detail-oriented and are looking to grow your career in the collision repair industry, then this could be your ticket to a great career. As an Auto Body Technician/Prepper, you will be responsible for prepping various makes and models of vehicle for bodywork and paint.

We are looking for an Auto Body Tech/Prepper that is willing to be trained and demonstrates the ability to learn.

A day in the Life of an Auto-Body Tech/Prepper at Fix Auto

• Read, understand, and follow work orders.

• Inspection of projects prior to refinishing to ensure all prep and repair work is complete.

• Apply masking to the bumpers, windows and trim for primer preparation.

• Prepare the vehicle for paint; sanding, taping, and applying primer.

• Clean and smooth surfaces before the application of primer and paint

• Sheet metal repair and finishing (small and large body work)

• Disassembly+ reassembly of vehicles before and after repairs.
