Auto Electrician

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Auto Electrician to join our growing Service Team in Tagum. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the electrical and electronic systems of vehicles while ensuring quality workmanship and proper service procedures.

Training will be conducted at our Head Office in Davao City as required before or during the initial employment period.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive electrical and electronic problems using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Inspect and repair vehicle wiring, electrical connections, fuses, relays, batteries, alternators, starters, lights, sensors, switches, and related components.
• Perform diagnostic scanning and assist in identifying electronic system faults and error codes.
• Read and interpret basic automotive wiring diagrams and technical information.
• Conduct electrical testing using multimeters, scan tools, and other testing equipment.
• Perform electrical repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance according to proper procedures.
• Test vehicles after repair to ensure that electrical systems are functioning properly.
• Identify additional electrical concerns and coordinate findings with the Service Coordinator/Service Advisor.
• Properly document diagnosis, repairs performed, parts used, and other relevant service information.
• Maintain proper care and use of tools, diagnostic equipment, and customer vehicles.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work closely with other technicians and the Service Team to complete assigned jobs efficiently.
• Attend technical, product, and manufacturer-related training as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Automotive Servicing, Automotive Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related vocational course.
• TESDA certification in Automotive Servicing or related training is an advantage.
• Previous experience as an Auto Electrician, Automotive Technician, or related position is preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and other automotive testing equipment.
• Ability to understand basic automotive wiring diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to undergo training at the Head Office in Davao City.
