Auto Electrician

About the role

As our Auto Electrician, you will be taking part in the installation, fitting, wiring, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of automotive electrical systems and accessories associated with aluminium and steel tray body builds along with complete canopy fitouts.

Key responsibilities

• Install, fit and wire automotive electrical accessories to a high standard.
• Perform warranty repairs and electrical fault-finding both in-house and onsite.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
• Assist with research and development of new vehicle models, including sonar, camera and sensor positioning.
• Provide technical support and advice to agents and resellers regarding electrical systems.
• Monitor electrical component stock levels in conjunction with the stores.
• Support and maintain Lean Manufacturing principles throughout the workshop.

About you

• Trade-qualified Auto Electrician (preferred).
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair automotive electrical faults.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit diagrams.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
