Auto Electrician – FIFO Mining

FIFO | 2:1 Roster | Mining & Earthmoving Equipment

We are currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our mining operations on a FIFO basis.

This role will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, fault finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance across a range of heavy earthmoving, mining and ancillary equipment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

• Electrical repairs and maintenance across mining and earthmoving equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and issues
• Low-voltage electrical repairs and fault finding
• Electrical maintenance on mobile plant, ancillary equipment and support vehicles
• Installation, testing and repair of electrical components and systems
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Relevant Auto Electrical trade qualification
• Previous experience working on mining, earthmoving or heavy mobile equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with low-voltage electrical systems
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a maintenance team
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Mining/FIFO experience highly regarded
