Auto Garage Supervisor

Auto Garage Supervisor Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop/garage operations.
• Assign repair and maintenance jobs to mechanics and technicians.
• Monitor work progress and ensure jobs are completed on time.
• Inspect vehicles and ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards.
• Diagnose and assist with technical issues when required.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
• Prepare job cards, work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with customers regarding vehicle problems, repair requirements, and completion status.
• Estimate labor requirements and coordinate with the service advisor or management on repair costs.
• Monitor spare-parts requirements and coordinate with the parts department.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Train, guide, and evaluate mechanics and workshop staff.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve technical or service-related issues.
• Monitor workshop productivity, technician performance, and job quality.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper housekeeping within the garage.
• Ensure company procedures and manufacturer/service standards are followed.
• Report major technical issues, delays, accidents, and operational problems to management.

Auto Garage Supervisor Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an automotive garage, workshop, or auto spare parts environment.
• Proven experience supervising mechanics, technicians, and workshop staff.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and workshop operations.
• Knowledge of automotive spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to assign daily jobs, monitor work progress, and ensure timely completion.
• Good understanding of workshop safety procedures and quality standards**.**
• Strong team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with customers, service advisors, parts suppliers, and management.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and workshop management systems.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple repair jobs efficiently.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage**.**

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
