About the role

At Novus Glass, we're committed to delivering exceptional service and workmanship to every customer. As an Auto Glass Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing, replacing, and fitting automotive glass while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

Whether you're an experienced technician or have transferable skills from another trade or hands-on industry, we'll provide the support and training needed to help you succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, replace, and fit automotive glass, including windscreens, rear windows, side glass, and associated components to Novus Glass quality standards.
• Recalibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure vehicle safety features function correctly.
• Inspect glass and related materials prior to installation to ensure quality and suitability.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and represent the Novus Glass brand professionally at all times.
• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the service centre and contribute positively to the team environment.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional work area.
• Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures, using the equipment and PPE provided.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard.

• Practical, hands-on skills and the ability to work confidently with tools.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full New Zealand driver's licence.
