Auto Inspector

Big Valley Auto Auction is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and self-motivated Auto Auction Inspector. This position performs accurate vehicle inspections in accordance with NAAA guidelines. The ideal candidate has experience assessing structural and frame damage and can inspect a high volume of vehicles while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle inspections, focusing on structural integrity and adherence to NAAA guidelines.
• Identify, assess, and accurately document body, frame, and other visible vehicle damage.
• Inspect a high volume of vehicles efficiently while maintaining inspection quality.
• Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records.
• Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally to management and other staff.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while working on the auction floor.
• Operate vehicles safely on auction property as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Previous auto inspection or related automotive experience is required; experience with structural and frame assessment is strongly preferred.
• Must be self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• Must be able to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and following safety procedures.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
