Car Bargain is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition for our customers. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive systems and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and provide effective solutions.
• Repair or replace worn parts and systems, including engines, transmissions, and suspensions.
• Inspections and Diagnostics:
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify potential issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to pinpoint mechanical and electronic problems.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timelines.
• Customer Service:
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues and necessary repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring all repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
• Ensure all repairs meet or exceed manufacturer and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from a recognized automotive repair program preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with automotive repair tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged periods standing, bending, and working under vehicles.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools and machinery.
• Work closely with other mechanics, service advisors, and the parts department to ensure seamless workflow.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay current with advancements in automotive technology.Qualifications:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
