AUTO MECHANIC

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced, hardworking, and skilled Auto-Mechanics to join our Workshop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosis, repair, servicing, and maintenance of both armored and non-armored vehicles to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical Repairs & Maintenance

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and manual inspection.

Repair and maintain engines, gearboxes, brake systems, suspension, steering, and cooling systems.

Carry out routine servicing, oil change, and preventive maintenance.

2. Armored Vehicle Support

Work closely with Fabrication and Armoring team during and after vehicle armoring.

Ensure vehicle performance is not compromised after armoring reinforcement.

Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspection and road testing.

3. Workshop Operations

Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety standards, and proper handling of tools and equipment.

Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and work done on each vehicle.

Report major faults, parts requirements, and technical issues to the Workshop Manager.

Ensure all jobs are completed within stipulated time frame.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum of SSCE / Trade Test I, II, III / OND in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years proven hands-on experience as Auto-Mechanic.

Strong experience with Toyota brand - Hilux, Land Cruiser, Prado, Coaster Bus, Hiace (COMPULSORY).

Knowledge of diesel and petrol engines.

Ability to use modern diagnostic scanners/tools.Experience in armored vehicle maintenance / CIT vehicles is a major advantage.

Must be honest, diligent, physically fit, and able to work under pressure.

Good team spirit and ability to take instructions.

Proximity to V.I and it's environs is an added advantage.

Pay: ₦180,000.00 - ₦220,000.00 per month
