Auto Repair Technician / A Level / Certified

Automotive Technician

North Mountain Auto Repair is looking for an experienced technician who wants to work in a busy shop, turn good hours, and be surrounded by people who care about doing the job right.

We are an independently owned shop in Phoenix. We have real systems, steady car count, strong advisors, training, and a team that wants to win together.

If you're good at fixing cars and want a place where you can produce, make good money, and take pride in your work, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose vehicles accurately instead of throwing parts at problems
• Perform complete digital inspections and identify what the vehicle actually needs
• Repair vehicles correctly and efficiently
• Produce quality billed hours while keeping comebacks low
• Communicate with advisors when something doesn't make sense
• Help keep work moving through the shop
• Take ownership of your jobs from beginning to end
• Be part of the team instead of just occupying a bay

What We're Looking For

• Solid hands-on automotive repair experience
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
• Someone who can think through a problem
• Pride in workmanship
• Good production without sacrificing quality
• Dependable attendance and a professional attitude
• Willingness to learn and improve
• Someone who understands that we all win or lose together

ASE certifications are great, but we'd rather have someone who can actually diagnose and fix cars than someone with a wall full of certificates who can't.

What It's Like Here

We stay busy.

Our goal isn't to cram as many cars through the building as possible. It's to inspect them properly, communicate with the customer, sell the work they need, fix them right, and get them back on the road.

We believe technicians should have the opportunity to produce.

That means getting inspections done quickly, getting estimates to customers, getting parts ordered, getting approvals, and keeping the day moving.

We train. We measure performance. We have processes. And when something isn't working, we fix the process instead of pretending the problem doesn't exist.

There is accountability here, but there is also support.

What You Get

• Steady car count
• Opportunity to turn strong hours
• Well-equipped shop
• Digital inspections and modern shop management systems
• Advisors focused on selling and moving work
• Training and opportunities to improve
• Direct access to ownership
• A team that wants to get better
• A shop where good work gets noticed
• Opportunity to make a very good living if you can produce

The Kind of Technician Who Does Well Here

You don't need someone standing over your shoulder.

You inspect the whole car.

You diagnose before replacing parts.

You ask questions when you need help.

You care if a car comes back.

You want the advisor to sell the work.

You want the shop busy.

And when there's an opportunity to help the team, your answer is usually yes.

That's the kind of person we're looking for.
