Auto Service/Parts Associate

This role is approximately 20 to 30 hours per week. Hours vary based on business needs. You will serve as one of the points of contact for customers visiting our Service/Auto Parts department. You will play a critical role in ensuring every customer receives knowledgeable guidance, transparent communication, and a seamless service experience from start to finish.

The role requires someone who can confidently recommend necessary parts, repairs, maintenance, manage workflow efficiently, and identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction while supporting department performance. Computer proficiency is required.

You are responsible for:

Supporting customers with service/parts inquiries, repair tips, maintenance procedures, and making recommendations as needed

Managing, sourcing, receiving, organizing and replenishing/merchandising stock and parts

Generate Parts invoices and tracking pending orders

Assisting in scheduling, updating and managing technician work orders

Liason between technician and customer regarding repairs and recommendations

Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, while handling cash and credit payments

Other duties as assigned

Physical demands include standing/walking for up to 8 hours per day, lifting 25lbs unassisted, twisting and turning repeatedly, lifting above shoulder and lifting from floor to waist, and floor to shoulder, walking and carrying light merchandise at the same time, pushing/pulling as required, walking up/down stairs and using a ladder while carrying light merchandise.

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
