JOB SUMMARY

The Auto Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining Geely vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and dealership procedures. The position ensures that all assigned vehicles are properly serviced, safe to operate, and released to customers in good working condition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing of Geely vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and technical concerns.
• Diagnose vehicle problems using appropriate tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
• Perform repair and replacement of vehicle components as required.
• Conduct engine, brake, suspension, steering, electrical, air-conditioning, and other vehicle system checks.
• Follow Geely technical specifications, repair procedures, and service standards.
• Perform road tests when necessary to verify repairs and vehicle performance.
• Ensure that all repair work is properly completed before vehicle release.
• Accurately record repairs, parts used, findings, and recommendations on job orders.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors regarding vehicle findings and additional repair requirements.
• Inform the Service Advisor or Service Manager of major technical concerns or repair issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
• Properly handle and safeguard customer vehicles while under service.
• Observe all dealership safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Attend technical training and product updates as required by the dealership or Geely.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 1 year of experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, preferably in a dealership.
• Experience in vehicle preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
• TESDA Automotive Servicing certification is an advantage.
• Experience with Geely or other automotive dealership brands is a plus.
• Must be willing to undergo technical training.
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing hands-on automotive work.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• With good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Must have a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The position primarily works in the dealership service workshop and may involve prolonged standing, lifting or handling automotive parts, exposure to vehicle fluids and workshop equipment, and working in varying environmental conditions.

Pay: From Php18,070.00 per month
