Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled CAD Designer with strong AutoCAD 2D knowledge to prepare accurate, execution-ready technical drawings for greenhouse, hydroponic, and protected cultivation projects. The candidate will work closely with engineering, project, procurement, and execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for hydroponic farms, greenhouses, polyhouses, and protected cultivation projects.
• Develop site layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, foundation, structural, and installation drawings.
• Prepare irrigation, fertigation, plumbing, drainage, electrical, and utility layouts.
• Design hydroponic systems including NFT, Dutch Bucket, Grow Bag, Vertical Farming, and Nursery systems.
• Convert site measurements, sketches, and engineering inputs into technical drawings.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions, client feedback, and engineering changes.
• Prepare BOQs and material take-offs when required.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, sales, and project teams.
• Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and project documentation.
• Support site execution with drawing updates and clarifications.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, Draftsmanship, or a related field.
• AutoCAD certification is preferred.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting or technical design.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
• Experience in preparing layouts, sections, elevations, structural, fabrication, and installation drawings.
• Understanding of civil, structural, plumbing, irrigation, MEP, and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, SolidWorks, or 3D AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Experience in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs is preferred.
