AutoCAD Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Prepare engineering and manufacturing drawings as per requirements.
• Understand and apply basic GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• Make modifications to existing designs based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams for design-related requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings and design files.
• Assist senior designers/engineers in developing mechanical components and products.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of drawings before releasing them for production.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Freshers with relevant CAD training can apply.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & Isometric.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks 2D & 3D.
• Basic understanding of GD&T and mechanical drawing standards.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word will be an added advantage.
