Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Design Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD, mechanical design, engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and documentation. Experience in designing automotive, agricultural, construction or machinery parts will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive, agricultural, construction and machinery parts using AutoCAD.
• Prepare, modify and maintain detailed 2D engineering drawings.
• Review drawings for dimensions, tolerances, specifications and accuracy.
• Create and maintain design checklists, drawing records and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with production and other departments regarding design requirements.
• Make necessary drawing modifications based on production requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and quality of engineering drawings.
• Support other design, drafting and documentation-related activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances and basic manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Experience with automotive/machinery component designing will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in mechanical design/drafting.
• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Candidates with manufacturing industry experience are preferred.
• Candidates should be comfortable working with production and design teams.
