Role Overview

The position of CAD Designer will be based in Bangalore and reports directly to the Creative Head.

Key Functions and Responsibilities

1. Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for event layouts including stages, booths, seating, truss, and branding elements.
2. Translate creative concepts and briefs into accurate technical drawings aligned with production feasibility.
3. Coordinate with design, production, and vendor teams to incorporate real-time changes and feedback.
4. Ensure all drawings comply with venue guidelines, safety norms, and structural requirements.
5. Manage drawing versions, updates, and documentation across multiple event projects.
6. Support on-ground execution by providing technical clarifications and last-minute revisions when required.
7. Mentor junior designers and maintain drawing standards and best practices.

Prerequisite

We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts/CAD Design or a relevant certification from a recognized university. This role is all about the creative side of events, so having 3-5 years of experience in the event industry is a must.

Essential Skills

We're looking for someone who's up to date with the latest technologies and AI trends in the event industry. You should stay on top of emerging tools, especially design programs and software like InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, and others. You'll need to collaborate easily with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, web developers, and marketing teams. It’s important for graphic designers to always be in the know when it comes to new tech and innovations

We’re looking for someone who stays updated on the latest technology and market trends. You should have a knack for visualising ideas and concepts in a clear, simple way, with the ability to understand products, processes, and requirements and bring them to life through design. Being proactive, organised, and self-driven is key.
