Job Description – AutoCAD Designer (Pressure Vessel)

Position: AutoCAD Designer / Mechanical Draftsman
Industry: Pressure Vessel / Industrial Equipment
Location: Mulund, Mumbai
Salary: Up to ₹35,000 per month
Experience: Relevant experience in Pressure Vessel Design and AutoCAD is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create pressure vessel fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare component drawings, GA (General Arrangement) drawings and fabrication layouts.
• Coordinate with the design, production and fabrication teams.
• Ensure drawings meet project specifications and applicable engineering standards.
• Revise drawings based on engineering feedback and project requirements.

Required Skills

• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
• Practical experience in Pressure Vessel Design / Drafting.
• Knowledge of fabrication drawings, dimensions, tolerances and material specifications.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings is essential.
• Knowledge of ASME Section VIII or related pressure vessel codes will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile

• ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant pressure vessel drafting experience preferred.
• Candidates comfortable working at the Mulund location.
