Job Title: AutoCAD Drafter

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically competent AutoCAD Drafter to support our engineering and project teams in the preparation, updating and maintenance of technical drawings and documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and managing AutoCAD and BIM files throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise and maintain 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and related drafting software.
• Develop and update as-built drawings based on site measurements, construction changes, and project completion records.
• Review engineering sketches, specifications, and design documents to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and site personnel to obtain required information for drawing updates.
• Create, organize, and maintain project drawing registers and document control systems.
• Generate, update, and manage BIM models and BIM files in accordance with project requirements and standards.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company, client, and industry drafting standards.
• Perform drawing quality checks to identify discrepancies, clashes, or missing information.
• Support project teams with drawing submissions, approvals, and documentation requirements.
• Archive and maintain version control of drawings and related project documentation.
• Assist in site surveys and data collection activities when required.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma, Higher NITEC, ITE Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, Building Services, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting or similar technical drawing roles.
• Experience in preparing and updating as-built drawings.
• Experience working with engineering, construction, facilities management, M&E, or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of drawing standards, layering, scales, and technical documentation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
