AutoCAD Drafter

Key Responsibilities

• Produce precise 2D/3D CAD drawings for custom furniture, joinery and interior layouts

• Prepare CNC production files: cutting plans, tool paths and machining specifications

• Translate design sketches into detailed manufacturing drawings with dimensions, materials and joinery details

• Conduct on-site measurements and record dimensions accurately (when required)

• Review drawings for production feasibility and alignment with design intent

• Coordinate with production/CNC team to ensure drawings match manufacturing requirements

• Update and maintain drawing files and project documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, Drafting Technology or related field

• Proven experience in furniture manufacturing / joinery drafting

• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD / Fusion 360 / SolidWorks or equivalent)

• Hands-on knowledge of CNC machining processes: cutting, profiling, tooling and material optimisation

• Experience in site measurement & dimension verification is highly preferred

• Familiar with joinery construction, materials and production workflows

• Meticulous, organised and able to meet project deadlines

• Able to communicate clearly and work as a team

Pay: $2,200.00 - $4,000.00 per month
