AutoCAD Draftsman

5 Team Events and Exhibition LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to join our fast-paced event production, custom exhibition fabrication, and fit-out team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative concept design and physical manufacturing. You will be responsible for translating 3D/2D concepts into precise, production-ready shop drawings, technical layouts, and joinery details for exhibition stands, brand activations, kiosks, and interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Drawing & Detailing: Produce accurate 2D and 3D shop drawings, fabrication drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD.
• Production Support: Develop detailed manufacturing and joinery drawings for wood, metal, glass, and acrylic components used in exhibition stands and events.
• Coordination with Teams: Collaborate closely with 3D designers, project managers, and the in-house workshop/carpentry fabrication crew to ensure designs are structurally sound and buildable.
• Site Dimensions & Surveys: Verify site measurements, layout dimensions, and venue guidelines (e.g., Dubai World Trade Centre, ADNEC, or major malls) when required.
• Material Optimization: Plan layouts keeping material efficiency and structural safety in mind to minimize waste during production.
• Revisions & Documentation: Update drawings based on client feedback, venue regulations, or engineering changes, maintaining organized project document files.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of proven drafting experience specifically within the exhibition stand fabrication, events production, or interior fit-out industry in the UAE.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); familiarity with 3ds Max, SketchUp, or Adobe Illustrator is a strong advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of carpentry, joinery details, materials (MDF, plywood, acrylic, glass, metals), and standard event construction methods.
• Industry Awareness: Familiarity with UAE exhibition rules, venue guidelines, and safety standards.
• Communication Skills: Good command of English (knowledge of Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is a plus). Able to work under tight deadlines typical of the events industry.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
